festival in the park

For those of you who think two days of wandering a grassy, leaf-shaded park, listening to music and watching belly dancers while poking around through tents filled with strange and unique items by local artisans is absolute bliss, please make sure you check out Goddess Fest at Julia Davis Park in Boise. I flip off my flip flops as soon as my tent is set up and revel for two days in the glorious feeling of grass and solid earth under my feet. The event starts at 10am on Saturday, July 23rd and ends at 5pm on Sunday, July 24th. It's fun and free. There's music and dancing and ceremonies and lots of vendors with awesome items. This will be the fourth year for nightwing accents, so come one, come all and check it out!!
